Clean Water Kiosks — Gulu & Kitgum, Northern Uganda

Northern Uganda has high rates of waterborne disease. This project installs 12 solar-powered filtration kiosks (reverse osmosis + UV) at trading centres in Gulu and Kitgum. Each kiosk serves 500+ households. Tariff: UGX 100/litre purified water. Kiosk operators are women-led cooperatives trained by Water Mission Uganda. Revenue split: 60% operations / 40% investor return. Kiosks handed to community trust after 36 months. Partners: Water Mission Uganda, UNICEF.
