Camel milk is valued at KES 300–500/litre (8x cow milk price) for its health properties. This project establishes a 120-camel dairy herd in Isiolo County's pastoralist zone. Milk is pasteurised and packaged in sterile packs for Nairobi health food stores and Jumia online sales. Export of frozen camel milk to the UAE Somali diaspora market commands $15–25/litre. The project partners with local Borana pastoralist communities through revenue sharing.
