Uganda Ostrich Farm — Zirobwe, Luweero

Ostrich leather (valued at $200–600/skin) is among the world's most expensive. Ethiopia's Harar plateau climate perfectly matches ostrich habitat requirements. This 150-ostrich ranch produces 50 skins and 2,000 kg of lean meat annually. The farm doubles as an agri-tourism attraction (ostrich riding, photography) linked to the ancient city of Harar (UNESCO site) tourist circuit.
